THE AUSTRALIAN DAIRY INDUSTRY WANTS TO STARVE NEWBORN CALVES! PLEASE HELP STOP THIS SICKENING ABUSE

In Australia approximately 700 000 calves are sent to slaughter each year because they are not wanted by the dairy industry. Within 12 hrs of being born they are taken from their mums, then at age 4+ days old these newborns are trucked to slaughter. Bobby calves are newborn calves that are less than 2 weeks old and not with their mothers.
Products from processed newborn calves include young veal for human consumption, valuable hides for leather and byproducts for the pharmaceutical industry.
When transported from farms to saleyards and abattoirs, bobby calves are often treated terribly. Many newborn calves struggle to walk by themselves, which can frustrate handlers who have very little compassion for these animals. Calves are often pulled, dragged and thrown about during the farm to slaughter process.

Don't kill babies. Be vegan.

Many forms of meat that people consume are actually dead babies. Young or baby animals are routinely slaughtered for human consumption. Furthermore, the practice of producing other animal products often results in killing babies.
Here are some examples:
Veal comes from dead calves, if people would stop drinking milk, naturally veal production would end.
The male chicks are useless, so they are killed as babies.
Piglets are taken away from their moms when they are 2-3 weeks old. Many die & those who survive are slaughtered by the time they are 6 months old.
Although Turkeys live for 10-20 years but they slaughtered when they are just 1 or 2 year old.
Chicken are slaughtered when they are just 3 weeks old. By the time, others who were spared earlier on are 14 weeks old, all of them are slaughtered.
Dairy cows are often slaughtered at about four years, sometimes while pregnant. Beef cattle are normally slaughtered between 9 and 30 months of age. The average lifespan for a cow or bull is about 7 years.
Lamb comes from baby sheep. US Lamb Grades: Baby Lamb or hothouse lamb (lambs slaughtered at between 6 and 8 weeks of age), Spring Lamb (between 3 and 5 months of age), Lamb (under one year of age), Mutton (Sheep over 1 year of age, typically slaughtered by 2 years of age). Sheep can live up to 15 years.
Babies should be protected. Babies should be allowed to grow up and live their lives.
Don't kill babies. Be vegan.

Dairy's tragic 'waste product'

Avid dairy drinkers may find it difficult to imagine that the benign milk carton is harbouring a dark secret. But the truth is, cows don't spontaneously produce milk.
Like all mammals, cows only lactate after giving birth. And to sustain high milk flow, Australian dairy cows are impregnated -- and consequently, give birth -- every year of their productive lives. The job of many newborn dairy calves however is finished on the day they are born. No longer 'needed' by the dairy industry, these vulnerable baby animals are separated from their grieving mothers so that the milk nature intended for them can be harvested for humans.
What happens to these babies? Some females will face the same fate as their mothers, but most calves will simply be killed. Every year the dairy industry sends around 1 million unwanted dairy calves to be killed at around 5 days of age.
