A lovely California cat - Max survived this ridiculous act cruelty by a mad person who shot an arrow through Max's head.
Max is a three year old black and white cat owned by a couple in Santa Cruz. He was shot with an arrow this weekend. He was rushed to the veterinary hospital.
The vets were able to remove the arrow from his head by giving him anaesthesia. The arrow did enter 5-8 cm into Max's head but somehow missed his brain.
The incident left Max with a punctured here but caused no permanent damage. Vets are confident that Max will fully recover soon.
Sadly, no suspects could be investigated for this crazy act of animal cruelty. I am glad Max survived but so many other animals don't. I still don't understand what is really the pleasure in hurting animals in this way. What psychotic behavior to think of so many techniques to hurt the poor animals. We can never be sure how absolutely normal people can also do such crazy things with animals when nobody is looking. It is definitely hard to tell!
