A woman named Boyd from Minnesota is being charged for animal cruelty when she killed her chihuahua after he urinated on her leg.
Boyd told the police that she got mad at the dog because he urinated on her leg and on the couch. So she picked him up in anger and threw it at the dresser that was in front of the couch.
The puppy who was only a few weeks old died after the incident due to a broken skull. It was his first night in the apartment with Boyd.
According to the police reports, Boyd had no regrets for the inhumane act she committed. She first gave false stories as well about the entire incident.
The good thing is that if she is convicted, she could be forced to serve two years in jail or be fined $5000.
People who read this sad incident are more than angry at Boyd. They wish that she gets imprisoned and fined both. Most of them feel two years is quite less a punishment for such crimes. Others hoped that she goes to prison and everybody there should urinate on her. Somebody else commented that she should not even have a baby of her own, cause in anger she would throw the baby too.
It is sad whenever we hear of such stories. Animal cruelty just cannot be monitored all the time. So many poor animals lose their lives because they end up with psychotic people. Just like Boyd who could not understand that a puppy needs time to settle down in a house and that one has to work hard with pets to train them.
