Please help get the maximum sentence for the woman who starved a 2 year old Great Dane Zack. In late November, 2010 police investigated the house of Farmingdale NY woman Rose Neira,30, due to numerous calls from neighbors on animal cruelty. Upon arrival, police noticed a severely emaciated great Dane named Zack. The dog had protruding bones and his spine was sticking out of his back. The dog was brought to Oyster Bay Animal Hospital and despite round the clock surgery and treatment, the dog died 10 days later. This woman said she kept him in the kitchen and only let him out once per night.
Please help us get the maximum sentence for this woman, this court case has already been delayed once before and we cannot let this happen again.
